지만원을 고소한 탈북자들, 스스로의 무덤 팠다

1980년 전남도청 앞마당에서 찍힌 현장사진 한 커트에 유명인이 된 탈북자 50명 정도가 들어 있다. 나는 탈북자들 얼굴과 이름에 관심도 없었고, 어쩌다 한 번씩 체널A의 이만갑 방송 장면을 조금씩 스쳐 지났을 뿐이었다. 내가 무심히 지나친 장면들을 노숙자담요는 지켜보고 있었다. 여기에서 확실히 할 것이 있다. 노숙자담요는 탈북자 열굴이 광주현장에서 발견되었다고 했을 뿐, 그들을 처음부터 위장한 사람들이라 하지 않았다. 탈북광수들은 대부분 어렸을 때 구색맞추기 선전선동용 세트 장식물로, 특수군 위장 목적으로 동원돼 온 어린 존재들이다. 그렇다면 솔직히 “내 의지와는 달리 동원된 건 사실이다”: 이렇게 말해 주면 될 일이었다. 이렇게 했다면 모든 국민이 박수를 칠 것이다. 하지만 이들은 자기 자신에 대해서만 부인하는 것이 아니라 북한의 침략행위 자체가 없었다고 극구 부인한다. 그래서 국민들로부터 백안시당하는 것이다.

              김유송, 박상학, 이민복

이 50명 중에는 김유송이 들어 있었다. 그는 2010년경에 나에 접근해 왔고, 그 후 500만야전군에 핵심 간부로 충성해 왔다. 나에게는 가장 가까운 의논상대였고, 그의 두뇌는 매우 명석했다. 그래서 그와 나는 형제라 할 수 있을 만큼 가까워졌다.

나의 안 사람은 친구들로부터 모금을 하여 박상학에게 70만원을 보냈고, 회기동에서 치른 이민복 결혼식에 나는 커다란 플랜트를 가지고 가서 축해해 주었다. 박상학은 그 후 여러 차례 만나 외국에서 전해온 성금들을 전달해 주면서 그의 애국활동을 격려해 주었다. 시스템클럽을 통해 박상학을 도와주십사 부탁을 드리는 글도 썼다. 그런데 어느 날 노숙자담요가 ‘서울광수’들을 얼굴분석과 함께 보내왔다. 이 중에는 이 세 사람의 얼굴들이 있었다.

개인적인 친분관계를 더 중요시했다면 나는 이들의 이름만이라도 뺐을 것이다. 하지만 모든 역사기록은 공명정대해야 했기 때문에 나는 이들의 이름을 빼지 않았다. 12.12역사를 쓸 때에도 그랬다. 불과 몇 시간 전에도 내 건강이 염려된다면서 따뜻한 전화를 걸어 명약을 추천해 주시던 윤성민 장관, 장관시절에는 내 연구결과를 가지고 5년 동안 나와 함께 군 예산개혁을 추진했던 그분의 기록을 뺄 수 없었다. 그래서 내가 쓴 ‘수사기록으로 본 12.12와 5.18’은 가장 공명정대하게 쓰인 책이다.

     나도 노숙자담요도 탈북자들에 원한 없었다

명예훼손죄는 ‘허위사실인지 뻔히 알면서 오로지 상대방의 명예를 훼손시킨 분명한 목적’을 가지고 글을 써야 성립한다. 하지만 나는 50여명의 탈북자들을 노숙자담요가 분석해 줄 때까지 전혀 알지 못했다. 국가를 지켜야 한다는 신념, 정확한 역사를 기록해야 한다는 신념을 가지고 4년 동안 밤낮으로 오로지 영상분석에 매진해온 노숙자담요와 그 팀의 노력을 전문가도 아닌 내가 어떻게 명단에 올리고 빼고 할 수 있겠는가? 국가를 사랑하지 않는 사람이라면 왜 이 위험하게 시달릴 일을 추진하겠는가? 내가 탈북자 수십 명을 어찌 안다고, 얼굴도 이름도 모르는 그들의 명예를 무슨 목적으로 훼손시키려 마음을 먹었겠는가?

      지만원 고소했으면 애국자 행세 말라

광화문 태극기 집회 주최단체들은 모두 다 양양가를 애창한다. ‘이 몸이 죽어서 나라가 산다면 기꺼이 한목숨 바친다‘는 가사의 노래다. 우리사회에서 활동하는 탈북자들은 누구나 다 자신들이 애국자임을 강조한다. 하지만 그들은 자기들의 작은 이익을 위해 애국의 선봉에 서 있는 우익장수들 중 한 사람인 지만원을 감옥에 넣겠다며 하태경과 같은 반역자의 인솔을 받아 검찰에 고소를 했다. 들리는 말에 의하면 그들의 변호를 맡은 변호사도 하태경과 같은 부류라고 한다.

아래 사진들을 보라. 맨눈으로만 보아도 ‘똑같은 얼굴들“이라고 감탄한다. 안찬일이라는 자는 내가 광수로 지정하지도 않았는데 스스로 광수라고 이실직고 했다. 얼굴이 드러난 광수들보다 더 이상한 자가 바로 안찬일이다. 노숙자담요는 안찬일이 분명 광수일 것이라고 가정하고 열심히 찾았지만 아직은 찾지 못했다.

Defectors from North Korea Who Accused Jee Man-Won, Have Dug Their own Graves

In a cut of a picture taken at the front yard of Junnam provincial building in 1980 are contained about 50 defectors from North Korea who have become big-name personages. I am not interested in the faces and names of the defectors, and only happened to give a glance at the scene titled ‘Now we are going out to meet’ on channel A TV for a moment by chance once in a while. But Nosookja-Dahmnyo were carefully watching the scenes which I passed through unconsciously. At this point, I have one thing to make clear. Nosookja-Dahmnyo simply indicated that the faces of defectors were found at the scene of Gwangju, but he did not allege from the beginning that they were disguised persons. Most of defector Gwangsoos were young ones, who were mobilized to come down here to help disguise North Korean special troops, functioning as ornament to provide an assortment for a set of stage for the purpose of advertisement and demagoguery. In view of this fact, all things would have been solved if they frankly said, “It was true that I was mobilized then to the contrary of my will”. If they had done like this, all the people would have given them big applause. But these people deny not only themselves to have been Gwangsoos but also go to extremes to deny North Korea’s invasion itself. This is why all the people look coldly on them

Kim Yoo-Song, Park Sang-Hak and Lee Min-Bok

Included among the 50 defectors was Kim Yoo-Song. He approached me around the year 2010, and had been loyal to Five Million Army as a core principal member. He was one of the closest adviser/consultant for me, and had very smart brain. So he and I got closer together almost like brothers.

My wife collected contributions from her friends and sent the 700 thousand won to Park Sang-Hak. At Lee Min-Bok’s wedding ceremony held at Hoiki-dong, I brought big plaque there to celebrate his wedding. I met Park Sang-Hak several times since then, and encouraged him for his patriotic activities delivering him the contributions transmitted from abroad. I also put my writing on my homepage Systemclub asking to help Park Sang-Hak. By the way, one day Nosookja-Dahmnyo sent me facial images of “Seoul Gwangsoos” together with image analysis explanations. Among them were the faces of these three defectors.

If I had attached more importance to personal familiarity, I would have deleted their names at least. But because all the historical facts should have to be recorded fair and justice, so I did not delete their names. So did I when I wrote the history of December 12th. The Minister Yoon Song-Min who made a warm phone call to me to recommend me best medicine conveying his concern about my weak physical condition, -- I could not delete records of him who, together with me, had been pushing forward military budget reformation for five years of his term utilizing my research result. In view of this, my book “The Dec. 12th and The May 18th Seen Through Investigation Records” is the one written in the most fair and justice way.

Neither I Nor Nosookja Dahmnyo Have Grudge Against Defectors

Crime of libel can be constituted only when one has written “with a clear purpose only to defame the other party’s honor clearly knowing it is fake”. But I never knew that the 50 defectors were Gwangsoos until Nosookja-Dahmnyo gave an analysis to me. Then how can I, being not an image expert, dare to put names on or delete them from the name list when I really appreciate the endeavor of Nosookha-Dahmnyo and his team who have been struggling on image analysis day and night for four years with faithful conviction that they should help protect the country and help record correct history. If one is a man who doesn’t love his country, then why would he be pushing forward this work by which he would be put into annoyance and danger? How could I have known the tens of defectors to make up my mind to defame their honors not knowing their faces and names, and on what purpose?

Don’t Ever Pretend To Be Patriots Once You Sued Jee Man-Won

All the organizations that holds Taekoogki (national flag) rallies at GwangHwaMoon love to sing YangYang-Song(patriotic march song). The lyrics of the song is, “If I can save the country by sacrificing myself, Oh then I will not hesitate to dedicate my life”. Every defectors in our society emphasizes that each of them is patriot. But they accused Jee Man-Won to the prosecution, for their small interests, led by a traitor like Ha Tae-Kyong, intending to put Jee Man-Won in prison who is one of the rightist commander standing in the van of patriotic activities. What I know by hearsay is that the lawyer who undertook to plead for them is said to belong in the same catalogue with Ha Tae-Kyong.

Don’t Think Light of South Korean People Who Make Judgement by Below Pictures

Behold the pictures below! Everyone exclaims that, “They are just the same faces!” when they see them even only with naked eyes. A man named Ahn Chan-Il confessed himself to have been Gwangsoo even though I did not designated him as Gwangsoo. This Ahn Chan-Il is more dubious defector than any other Gwangsoos whose faces are disclosed. Nosookja-Dahmnyo has been eagerly searching for image of Ahn Chan-Il with the assumption that he surely was a Gwangsoo, but failed so far.

Our South Korean people will be making judgement on below faces. The more people read them to say, “Oh, they are really same faces”, then below defectors who sued me will be losing the ground to stand on. Moreover in an interview, Kang Chol-Hwan denied to the extreme the fact that North Korean troops intervened in the May 18th incident. I think this very remark will be his critical weak point.
