지난 30년
5000년 대한역사의 한 티끌만큼의 시간
허나 지금은 21세기
한 가지 사건의 뉴스가 수분 내에 전 세계의 안방을 돌고 도는 고속화시대로
30년의 기간이 지난 천년역사 이상으로 맞물릴진대
이제 그 시간이 흐를 만큼 흘렀고
반드시 5.18 재정립에 서야할 거대한 정점에 섰다 

민주화의 탈을 쓴 사기와 기만에서
공권력에 업힌 공갈 협박에서
정치적 배경의 린치와 폭력에서
재물과 영예의 기반으로 다져진 오욕에서
창피를 모르고 날조를 자랑하는 데서
왜곡이 정당성으로 억지화 됨에서
곪디곪은 치부를 미화로 단장시킴에서
민주화로 포장돼 대한민국 역사의 오점으로 얼룩져온 5.18 폭동이
이제는 여기서 멈춰져야한다
이제라도 새롭게 거듭나야만 한다 

부활한 예수가 제자들 앞에 다시 섰을 때
의심 많은 도마가 부활의 증거를 요구했고
예수가 십자가에 박혔던 상처자국의 손을 내밀어 보였던 것처럼
아무도 가려내지 못한 채 흑막과 혼돈 속에 엉켜있던 5.18의 실체를
지박사가 12년간의 연구로 산증거들을 찾아내 제시하지 않았던가?
이렇게 진실이 백일하에 들어났는데
더 이상 무엇을 더 두려워하여야 하는가?

아직도 국가전복을 목적으로 각색된 북한의 선전매체로 전락한
황석영의 넘어넘어가 5.18의 진실이라는 허구를 감싸는
비겁하고 굴종된 오역의 역사를 후세에 남길 것인가?
그 많은 굴지의 사학가들은 왜 침묵을 지키고 있나?
전쟁의 폐허와 가난으로부터
OECD의 경제대국 대열에 우뚝 선 오늘의 대한민국은
명실공히 철권으로 통치되는 독재국가도 아니요
봉건사회속의 바나나 공화국은 더더욱 아니다

이제는 세계 속의 성숙한 국가요 국민임을 보일 때가 되지 않았는가?
다같이 5.18역사의 진실 규명토론회 대국민보고회에 참여해
진실 앞에 서서 용기와 결단을 보여야만 할 때가 아닌가?
그리고 새롭게 정립된 역사의 정점에 서서
리퍼트 대사의 구호처럼 대망을 향해
다함께 같이 갑시다

 

- The turning point of 5.18 from the last 30 years - 

The past 30 years
A dot of 5000 years of Korean history
This 30 years is as weighty as the last 1000 years time or so
Considering it is 21 century, super speedy era when a news spread around the whole world within a few minutes
Quite an ample time has passed, the momentous turning-point when the 5.18 should be re-deemed it's true stance 

Admit the deception and imposition in the guise of democratization
Turn from the coaxes and assaults backed by political power
Come out of the shame of honour and wealth solidified in flaw
Abandon the shameless pride out of fabrication
Justify the false justification on distortion
Drop the adornment of damaged scope
Back down from the riot, cased with the name of democratization that has plagued and tainted the Korean history
These all should be stopped here
These all should be re-established now 

After Jesus resurrection, his disciples were overjoyed by seeing him again.
Amongst them, Thomas had not believed in the event
Until Jesus showed Thomas the wounds on his hands and side from the crucifixion which was the living proof..
Likewise, Dr Jee has proved and been proclaiming the real entity of 5.18 as the result of his twelve years of strenuous work.

What are people so afraid of, yet?

Why have so many, so called, prominent historians been keeping silence on this for so long?
The Republic of Korea is no longer under the iron fist dictatorship nor a Banana republic which practising ancient feudal system.
The ROK is a valued member of OECD, came to have risen from the ashes of the war and poverty.

Is it time the country proudly showed the world her matured image as a nation and people?
Let's all participate in debating on the truth and revelation of 5.18, which will be on in a week time and open to the whole nation
Is it time the country faced to the truth with the courage and decisiveness?
So that, the country can march again afresh towards the hopes in infinite measure at the juncture of the re-established historic moment
