    3월 15일, 최선희 외신기자회견이 불러온 해상봉쇄전쟁

 

2월 27일 하노이 회담이 결렬된 후 16일 만인 3월15일, 최선희는 외신기자들을 불렀다. 김정은이 곧 미국과의 회담을 더 이상 지속할 것인지에 대한 여부와 핵미사일 도발을 시작할 것인지의 여부를 밝힐 것이라 예고했다. 매우 경솔한 짓을 한 것이다. 이에 미국은 전격적으로 북한에 대한 해상봉쇄 전쟁에 돌입했다. 해안을 봉쇄하기 위한 값비싼 탐색장비들이 대거 동해와 서해를 봉쇄하고, 이를 엄호하기 위한 전력자산들이 폭탄을 적재한 채, 하늘을 덮고 있다.

 

    북한이 공격당해도 중국과 러시아는 못 움직여

 

이 같은 미국의 군사력 전개에 대해 예전 같으면 중국과 러시아가 강력 경고를 하고 무력시위를 벌였을 텐데도, 중국과 러시아는 지금 완전 꼬리를 내린 채 침묵하고 있다. 무엇이든 과감하게 저지르는 트럼프, 자기 소신과 다르면 그 누구의 말도 듣지 않는 트럼프, 이런 트럼프가 무서운 것이다. 지금 이 순간 김정은은 가장 어려운 결심을 내려야 한다. 그 역시 주위의 참모들이 신통치 않게 느껴질 것이다. 트럼프에 안길 것이냐, 트럼프를 적대할 것인가? 그 중간 지점은 없다. 너스레를 떨 공간도 없다.
