       당신들이 찾는 리더는 없다

 

문재인을 중심으로 똘똘 뭉친 국가도둑놈들은 차고 넘치는데, 이에 대항해 싸우고 싶어 하는 국민들을 지휘할 리더가 없다. 답답한 국민들은 저마다 외친다. 이승만이 다시 나와야 하고 박정희가 다시 나와야 한다고, 한국당이 거듭 태어나야 하고, 장군들이 단결해 앞장 서야 한다고. 하지만 이런 소리는 세월을 의미 없이 허송하는 사람들의 넋두리일 뿐이다. 자기가 할 수 없는 일, 남에게 바라지 말라. 내가 할 수 없는 일은 장군출신도 할 수 없다. 장군출신들보다는 각자가 할 수 있는 일이 더 많다.

 

원로들이 나와서 한마디씩 한다. 장군들이 수백 명 전쟁기념관에 모여 안보를 걱정하고 성명서를 내고 헤어졌다. 노재봉 전 총리도 국가가 다 망해 가고 있다고 하소연한다. “큰일 났다, 모두가 나서야 한다”, 우국지사들 모두가 다 이런 소리를 한다. 하지만 나라가 위태로운 것은 이들이 말하지 않아도 뜻있는 국민들은 다 안다. 그런데 왜 이러한 에너지를 한 곳으로 모아 한 곳으로 몰고 가는 리더가 없는 것인가?

 

애국국민들은 현존하는 인물들 중에서 리더를 찾지 않고 저승에 가 계시는 이승만과 박정희 대통령이 다시 탄생하기를 고대한다. 감옥에 있는 박근혜가 빨리 나와 집권하기를 간절히 바란다. 이러한 사람들이 태극기를 들고 모이는 한 리더는 영원히 탄생하지 않는다.

 

빨갱이 없는 세상을 만들기 위해 20년 세월을 바쳐 빨갱이 박멸용 원자폭탄을 만들었다고 그렇게 외쳐도 거들떠보지도 않는다. 하늘에서 금방 박정희 같은 사람을 내려 주기만 바란다. 5.18소책자를 모든 국민에게 전파하면 분명 우리는 “빨갱이 없는 세상을 만들 수 있다”고 그토록 소리쳐도 외면한다. 그리고 손가락 하나 까딱하지 않고 입으로만 애국한다.

 

돈을 버는 데에도 일확천금이 없듯이 빨갱이 없는 세상 만드는 일에도 일확천금은 없다. 눈을 똑바로 뜨고 아무리 찾아보라. 각자가 바라는 리더가 보이는가. 설사 리더가 나타난다 해도 그 리더가 무슨 마술이 있다고 단숨에 빨갱이 없는 세상을 만들겠는가? 빨갱이 없는 세상은 우리 각자가 만들어야 한다. 각자가 주변사람들로 하여금 빨갱이의 본질을 알게 하고, 빨갱이를 증오하게 만들면 그것이 바로 빨갱이 없는 세상을 만드는 것이다. 이런 일을 하는데 왜 리더가 필요한가?

 

마음이 다급해진다고 바늘허리에 실을 매 쓸 수는 없는 일 아닌가? 돌아가는 길이 질러가는 길임을 깨닫는 지혜를 가져야 한다. 문재인을 때려잡는 순간은 하늘이 허용한다. 언제 올지 모르는 그 순간만 목매어 기다리지 말고 오늘 각자가 해야 할 일을 찾아 한가지씩이라도 하는 것이 애국이다.

 

끝으로 장군들에 기대면 허송한다는 사실을 깨달을 수 있는 사례 하나 소개한다. 6.25의 영웅 백선엽 장군 이야기다. 2003년 1월 초, 나는 광주교도소에서 출소했다. 박경석 장군의 손에 이끌려 육군회관에 갔다. 커다란 원형 테이블에 8-9명의 장군들이 앉아있었다. 대령 출신은 나 혼자였다. 그 때 한 예비역 장군이 “저기 저 선생님이 지만원 박사님이시냐?” 하고 옆 장군에게 물으셨다. “그렇습니다” 하자 갑자기 일어서시더니 나를 향해 90도 허리를 숙여 인사를 하셨다. “지박사님, 존경합니다. 저는 5.18을 북한이 주도했다는 것을 확신하는 사람입니다. 그런데도 용기가 없어서 말을 못했습니다.” 얼떨떨해 하는 순간 옆에 앉아계시던 박경석 장군이 귀에 대고 속삭였다. “저 분이 6.25의 영웅 백선엽 장군이야, 지금 지박사는 영웅으로부터 90도 절을 받은 거야, 이는 보통 일이 아니라구” 나는 백선엽 장군의 얼굴을 그때서야 처음 알았다. 그는 5.18에 대해 정확한 판단을 하셨고, 새까만 후배에게 절을 할 정도로 용감한 분이다. 

지금 문재인 세력은 완전 공포정치를 하고 있다. 이런 공포정치를 하는 계절에 그 어느 장군이 백선엽 장군 이상으로 용감하게 나설 것이며, 나선들 그가 무슨 능력으로 대중을 이끌고 문재인을 타도할 것인가? 지금도 육사출신 예비역 장군들 중에서도 “지만원은 또라이”라는 소리를 하는 사람들이 꽤 있다고 한다. 그런 그들에 분노하여 나에게 하소연하는 분들은 일반 국민들이었다. 이 지경이니 아무에게도 기대지 말라. 내가 할 수 없으면 남에게도 강요하거나 기대하지 말라. 매일 한사람의 이웃이라도 빨갱이에 분노하게 만들라.

 

There Is No Leader You Are Looking For

 

While thieves of the state are united together with Moon Jae-In as their central figure, and are so full and overflowing, there is no leader who can command patriotic people who want to fight against them. Every people is shouting out of frustration that this country needs Lee Seong-Man come out again, Park Jong-Hee come out again, and the Liberty Korea Party should get reborn, and Generals ought to get united to take the lead at the head. But these utterances are only tedious grumbles of those who idle their time away meaninglessly. What I am unable to do, -- the former generals are also unable to do. There are more things that each one can do than former Generals can.

 

Elderly seniors came out to say a word. Hundreds of former Generals got together in War Memorial, worried about the security of the country, issued an official statement and dispersed. Former Prime Minister Noh Jae-Bong appealed to the crowd that the country is going down to ruin. All patriots are uttering this, -- “We really are in big trouble. We all have to stand up against it”. -- But even before they uttered this, all the public-spirited people are aware that this country is at peril. Then why is there no leader who concentrates all this energy into one and drives it away into one direction?

 

Patriotic people are not trying to find leaders among presently living figures, but looking forward to Lee Seong-Man and Park Jong-Hee coming down again, who are now in the other world, They earnestly want Park Keun-Hye to come out of the prison fast and return to power. As far as only these people get together holding national flag, no leader can be born out from there ever.

 

Though I cry out so loud that, to make a world devoid of the Reds, I devoted 20 years and developed an atomic bomb that can eradicate the Reds, but they would not lift their eyes and look at me. They only hope Heaven bring down such a leader as Park Jong-Hee. However loud I cry out that “we can make a world devoid of the Reds” only when we distribute the pamphlet of the May 18th to all the people, they are turning their faces away. They do patriotic activities with only their mouth without even lifting a finger.

 

As there is no way of making a big fortune at a stroke, likewise there is no way of making a world devoid of the Reds at a stroke. Open your eyes wide and try to look for him everywhere. Can you see the leader that you want? Should the leader come out, what magic would the leader have to play to make the world devoid of the Reds at a breath? The reality is, each of us shall have to make the world devoid of the Reds. Therefore, each of us have to let the people around us know the true nature of the Reds, and make them hate the Reds. That‘s exactly what we can do to make a world devoid of the Reds. Why should we need a leader in doing this?

 

Though we are pressed in time, we can not use a needle by binding thread on its waist. We should be wise to realize that going a long way around is going by a shorter way. Heaven will allow us the moment when we can beat Moon Jae-In to capture. We‘d better not to wait for the moment which no one knows when it will come, but try and find to do what we can do today by oneself one by one. This is what patriots can do for now.

 

At the end, I‘d like to introduce an instance by which we can realize that we are easy to idle our time away if we put our hope on Generals. It is a story about a hero of the June 25th, Baik Sun-Yop. At the beginning of January, 2003, I was discharged from the prison. I went to the Army Hall led by General Park Kyong-Suk. I found that 8-9 Generals were sitting around a big round table. I was the only former colonel, not of former General. In a moment, a former General asked the other General beside him, “Is this gentleman over there Doctor Jee Man-Won?”. As soon as the other General answered “Yes, he is”, then the former General suddenly stood up and made a big bow to me in an angle of 90 degrees. “Doctor Jee, I highly respect you. I have a conviction that the May 18th was raised by North Korean troops. But I was not courageous enough to tell it”. When I was in embarrassment, General Park Kyong-Suk, who was sitting next to me, whispered something to my ear. “The gentleman is the hero of the June 25th, Baik Sun-Yop. You Doctor Jee has just received a bow of 90 degrees from the hero. This is amazing”. It was the first time that I saw the General Baik Sun-Yop. He was having correct judgement on the May 18th, and had the courage to make big bow to his junior of so many years.

 

Moon Jae-In and his forces are playing fear politics. In this season of reign of terror, which General can have the courage to come out ahead of the General Baik Sun-Yop? Should he come out, what capability does he have to lead the people and overthrow Moon Jae-In regime? Still now, it is said that there are not a little Generals of Military Academy graduates who say that Jee Man-Won is a weirdo. It was ordinary people who got angry at them and appealed to me. As things are like this, so don‘t lean on anyone for anything. If you can not do, don’t ask others to do or don‘t expect them to do. Just try to make even one of your neighbors get angry at the Reds.
