Dear sir, My name is Jee, Man-won, a civic activist living in Seoul, Korea. On the occasion of the 239th Independence Day( July 4, 2015) of the United States, with honor I would like to offer my sincere congratulations and best wishes of continued peace and prosperity to you Mr. President and the people of the United States of America. We Koreans have always highly valued US contribution to the regional stability especially on Korean peninsula. Mr. President, as you are well aware of, North Korea is aggressive, and always threatening South Korea even against the US with ever increased saber-rattling. What is more, the uncertainty of the tyrant regime being governed by the young dictator, Kim Jong-un is not only very questionable but also seriously alarming. However, we Koreans are confident that the second to none South Korea-US joint military power will surely deter NK's provocations on the Korean peninsula.
